Marvel War Of Heroes: Five Things We Want

We've yet to hear any official word from Mobage on why exactly Marvel War Of Heroes missed its expected release date last Thursday, and we're still awaiting confirmation that the game will make an appearance this week.

Being rather obsessive card-battle and superhero fans though, not even these delays can dampen our enthusiasm for the game. To help pass the time until we can finally get our hands on War of Heroes, here are five of the things we most want to see from this long-awaited mobile game.

A better interface

This might seem like a strange wish to put at the top of the list, but anyone who's navigated other Mobage games will be very familiar with the clunky, 90s website feel that the interfaces often have. It can be quite painful to navigate around the various menus and areas of the game.

Something much slicker, modern, and easier on the eye is essential for Marvel War of Heroes. We'd also like to see a lot less promotional information hogging up the main screen, and a much cleaner appearance overall.

More engaging combat

The joy of these games comes from building a bigger and better army to do battle with, but that doesn't mean we wouldn't like a little more hands-on involvement when it comes to the combat.

Rather than watching numbers float upwards in turn-based combat, we'd love to have more direct control over the fighting. You can't be a superhero without a spectacular super-power after all, so we certainly hope we'll get to at least choose our moments to unleash hell against the villains of the Marvel universe.

More rewards for loyal players

When it comes to card collecting games, we like to be rewarded for getting involved with the community in the long-term. PVP tournament weekends are on the cards for War of Heroes, and we hope that there'll be rewards for everyone who takes part, not just the winners.

The signs are good on this front, with Mobage offering players the chance to pre-register for the game and get an exclusive card as a reward...
