A month ago, comic book legend Stan Lee jumped into the iOS gaming scene with Verticus, an endless faller that sends players through the Earth's depths to thwart aliens from destroying mankind. Originally, we felt that, while enjoyable, Verticus should've been released as a free download. Thankfully, publisher Moonshark agrees, and the game will be available for zero dollars beginning tomorrow, December 19.
There's more, of course. With the new update, you can also expect a more social experience, as the developers integrated Game Center scores into Verticus. On top of that, it'll come with seven brand-new suits for the hero to wear, each with one signature power-up, like super speed.
The hope is for more people to play Verticus now that it's about to receive the ultimate price cut. Considering its quality, this shouldn't be a problem.
